UPDATE: Vantrue sent me a replacement suction mount which works perfect. The original mount I got appeared to be a factory defect. I updated my review to reflect the great customer service from Vantrue. The replacement suction mount I got was at no cost to me.---------------------------------I have used Vantrue Dashcams for years. I started with the X3 then the X4 and now the N4. I like this N4 because it records the front, cabin, rear, and the footage qualities are good. I have a few issues with this N4 but I will mention the two that are the most annoying.First is the windshield suction mount. I did not like the suction mount of the X3 because the swivel that allows the dashcam to be rotated and positioned in desired direction was not very tight. When someone on the road hit my car rental the dashcam literally swiveled forward and faced the sky (useless in a situation where you want the dashcam to record everything). When I upgraded to the X4 the suction mount was perfect as it allowed me to tighten the swivel to the point where it was difficult to rotate or budge the dashcam once tightened. This is ideal so if someone hits your car the dashcam doesn't swivel forward and face the sky. Well with this N4 that I bought the suction mount is very very disappointing. Even when the swivel is tightened to the max the dashcam can still be easily budged and moved which means if someone hits the car depending on the direction of the accident this dashcam will swivel and thrust out of position. I feel this is a step back and downgrade from the quality suction mount found with the X4 out of the box.Second, the rear dashcam, without its own suction mount renders it useless for frequent travelers like me who have to deal with car rentals. The rear dashcam comes with an adhesive that has to be affixed to the glass and while that works for someone's personal vehicle it is not practical for a rental car. Vantrue should've included a suction mount for the rear dashcam so people using car rentals could put it to use.I hope that Vantrue will solve the suction mount issue in the next version.

All 3 cameras worked fine for about 2 weeks.Then the back camera stoped working after 2 weeks. Then a month later the front passenger cam stopped working. Now I have a $370 dollar camera that only faces the front. Not what I paid for. If you buy this get the extended warranty for at least 1 year. It’s going to break in the heat

I drive for lyft and i invested in this camera so i can have 3 POVs: front, 1st row, 2nd row.There are times it would freeze and would not record so you have to restart your camera for it to work again. during this time you would not get any footage of all POVs.Also, when you check the files you would notice that there are missing times. i checked the folders and these footages can not be found. there were times i needed to see a footage but it's not there. luckily, i've never been in a situation that i badly need the footage.I've tried 3 memory cards: 256gb samsung evo, 32gb sandisk extreme, 128gb sandisk extreme. same result for all of them

I like almost everything from it, except the most important piece, the suction part that goes attached to the windshield. When I bought this item, somebody recommended it to me and I was super excited with the image quality, the design, etc. But I waited several months to install it because I bought a new car and I was waiting to use it in the Spring. I installed about two months ago and when summer came in, while driving on the highway the camera just fell off the windshield and scared the nuts out of me. I tried to put it on over and over again and I was like, wait a minute, this is very unsafe! I contacted the manufacturer and have not gotten a response yet. I tried today again to send then a complain but I will see if they offer a solution to the problem or not. I honestly was shocked to see the suction part did not last not even 2 months after installation! Is this a common issue? I have no idea, but this is my experience with it. So be careful what you spend your money with because it might end up causing you an accident. I will update this review if I hear from the manufacturer, so for now I will not recommend it yet.

There aren't many options for a 3-channel dashcam, which is why I went with this one. I was disappointed to see that the GPS unit needed to be purchased separately. They claim 4K but the resolution isn't great. The main issue I have with this unit is the price for what you get. What modern dashcam doesn't have the option to send files wirelessly? Massive flaw. The unit performed fine enough, but it isn't worth the cost.

The camera is great. I love that it has three cameras and they all capture a very crisp picture. The plastic of the camera feels pretty cheap. The product itself seems well designed, and I'm not worried about it falling apart or anything. But you can tell they cut costs by using a fairly cheap plastic. The mount sticks to the window very well. I am not worried about my camera falling. However, the ball socket of the mount isn't the tightest. The camera can move around a little if you are driving on bumpy roads. The way you clip the camera into the mount is not my favorite. It's somewhat difficult to pull off if you want to put your camera away. That's the only part of the camera I think may break after some use. The plastic just doesn't feel like it will hold up very long if I am consistently removing the camera.

Very good quality picture, wide-angle that catches almost everything around you. Havent tested the recording on impact trigger, but hopefully, it works flawlessly. Love the customer service. I had an issue with my order, and they fixed it beyond my expectations. Great company!

DON'T BUY !!!It seems that when the camera detects G-force, the camera deletes the video. The files should be saved to the "Emergency" folder (folder is titled by the camera system) but the files are missing. So, the camera is literally purging the only files I really want. DON'T BUY !!!

Since I got my new car and installed VanTrue N4 dash camera. This camera is a 3 cam version, which includes a rear camera, in addition to the front and cabin cams. I find this combination really useful, because I have complete coverage, should anything happen on either end. The video is crisp and clear and installation was a snap! Highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I bought this same dash cam on separate transactions. Mine came with the sticker tampered with as if someone opened it, returned it and It’s been refurbished & resold to me. First day, camera was amazing everything worked great. Second day, it turned off and wouldn’t turn on. Disconnect it, connected again and got it to turn on. Third day, won’t turn on at all anymore no matter what I do. My boyfriends works perfectly fine with no issue. Have ordered a replacement, make sure yours is completely seal with no sign of previous ownership

Read the specs on configuring the camera setup. It's only 4K if you use front and inside camera. If you select Front/Rear, then it's HD quality.I found this was one set that works great in a Jeep Wrangler. The problem with other cameras is that the Wrangler windshield is at a steep angle. Most cameras are made to mount on more angled windshields. I had to try a few camera brands before finding this one.I also liked the long cable for the power and rear camera. I ran the rear camera up over the windshield, down the driver side A-frame, and along the floor to the rear, and up to the rear window. The 3M tape has worked fine. I like the rotating mount on the rear camera. It swivels so you can actually run the rear camera with the rear hatch up.Picture quality seems excellent, and it is easy to pop out the SD mini card to review footage. If you don't have a long fingernail, you might need a screwdriver or pointy-something to spring it out.This setup gives me peace of mind that any incidents will be caught on camera. Good setup.

I’ve had this cam for less than a month and already the rear camera has went black and no longer recording. I checked the cables and connections and the cam recognizes the rear channel when plugged in but just nothing. It works great otherwise but I’m definitely disappointed in this happening and also that you have to buy completely separate hardware for GPS and speed.

I use a 512Gb Samsung memory card and it works great!I bought the GPS and OBD kit which I hope are part of future bundle in their next dash camera. I like that I have 3 views of recording inside cab front and back, also that it goes into a sleep mode when the vehicle is parked saves on battery usages . A couple of time the picture froze on me.

Very satisfied! I highly recommend it. It just helped me prove fault in a rear in accident.Also, my account was faulted out of $ 700 by phone. The con artists pretended to be my employer. My employer reimbursed me when I provided them with the bluetooth smarthone audio recorded by the in cabin camera.Not having WIFI doesn't bother me. The WIFI feature requires a separate high data SIM card plan.I recommend purchasing only the Vantrue micro SD cards. Cheaper ones have known issues and Vantrue cards do not require formatting. Having two will allow you to take one out and always have another to put in.Best Buy provides the best price for hardwire installation which I recommend.There is no need to worry about car battery drain. I really liked this camera but I've only had it for a couple months and this morning it just stopped working randomly. Won't get any power anymore I've tried everything. For a $300 item to stop working after just a short time of owning it I'm completely un satisfied at this point. I think the company should send me out a new one since this one had to have been defective, I'll happily send back the old one if you want. Please contact me if you have good customer service and will help me out with this problem.

I've used this dash cam for a little over a year, it has worked flawlessly the whole time and the picture is amazing. On top of that, I traded in my vehicle and was unable to retrieve the cable to runs from the rear camera to the dash cam, and upon contacting customer service in an attempt to purchase a new one (my fault totally), the company is instead sending me a replacement cable for free. Top notch.

It looks great, the quality and workmanship is perfect.The picture quality is very good, license plates can be seen with no problem.The audio quality could be a bit better but I understand there are cameras a lot more expensive out there. I would give the audio quality a 4 stars out of 5.The installation process was super easy.Overall is just plug and play since the settings menu is super easy as well.I am writing the review for my first unit while the second unit is arriving tomorrow for my wife's car. This camera by far is the best 3 channel camera out there. Do no hesitate if you are in the market for a good quality and reliable dash camera, it is worth every penny.

While I really liked the picture quality of this dashcam and that it has 3 channels, the mounting became a major problem.The camera mounts only with a suction cup mount. There is very little adjustment to the position of the camera in reference to the suction cup. The camera hangs about 3-4 inches below the suction cup -- you can't move it so the suction cup is behind it, etc. The problem with this is that on a 2015 Toyota Sienna, the camera can only be mounted in a way that blocks your field of view.I tried mounting the camera behind the rear view mirror on the passenger side. However, since the camera must be about 3-4 inches below the suction cup, then the suction cup would need to be mounted over the dotted grid at the top of the windshield. The suction cup can't stick to that portion of the windshield, as it's not smooth glass.The only places to mount the camera were directly in front of the passenger (annoying for the passenger) or far below the mirror, which blocks the view and is clearly visible from the outside... which would invite thieves to break into your vehicle to steal the dashcam.I also don't like that it doesn't have any mobile integration -- you need to eject the micro SD card every time you want to review the footage (unless you want to review it on the camera screen itself).I really wanted to like this camera, but because of mounting issues, I needed to return it.

Functions of this dashboard cam are pretty simple, just recording and with some simple system settings.Regardless of how decent the video quality is, there are some important features missing!First of all, you can't connect to this device using either bluetooth or WiFi to watch videos using an App on you smartphone. You must watch records on the device or on computers.Secondly, this camera provides a parking mode, but it does not support car battery protection! It is also not functioning with its own battery... so running this mode for many days could kill the car's battery! How to prevent this from happening? Sorry, the manual just stated: we don't suggest running parking mode for long time. What is "long time"? hours or days?To address this issue, you have to buy its hardwire kit. The car's battery could only be protected using this kit.Since two important features on this dashboard cam are missing, so I rate it to 4 stars.Last but not least, the product factory does care about its customers' feedbacks. Therefore, that's another factor to give credit.

This dashcam was worth the price.The clarity during the day and at night are excellent.Any time I've reviewed the footage I've been impressed.It has provided me an added layer of security and hilarity. It's absolutely delightful when someone starts to complain or accuse me of something that wasn't my fault just because... Cue me pointing to my dashcam and raising an eyebrow and they change their tune so fast.Only downside is if you don't access the footage within something like three days it may be gone due to storage capacity. I have the highest GB SD storage card, that is specifically for this dashcam, I could find by the way so that's not the issue. I was in a minor collision that didn't require reporting and, not realizing this tidbit about the time crunch, I didn't check the footage right away. It wasn't until I was in a close call weeks later that I checked the footage and found that it was gone. I'd have preferred to save this in the case of any future issues as a result of the collision. Fortunately it was only minor.

Camera is working great so far, bought the additional hardwire kit and installed myself. Only disappointment is in parking mode it only records 11 second, would be nice if they added a firmware update to adjust the length of that setting for longer.Video is clear and suction mount seems to be fine, but time will tell. The usb-c connector points straight up so you can't get it flush with the top of the windshield, i bought a 90 degree usb-c adapter to get it closer up top though.Just bought the gps addition with the 3m sticky mount they just released.

This unit is NOT easy to install. If you are mechanically inclined and know your way around removing and reconnecting the panels in a vehicle then go for it. If not, pay a professional to install it. I payed a professional and even he had a little trouble with it. That being said, it is totally worth it once it's installed. The picture quality on all three cameras is excellent. It is easy to see license plates and other details when the files are opened up on a computer. The night vision (IR) inside the vehicle is very good. I use the 256GB U3 micro SD card. The manual says not to use Scandisk or Transcend SD cards, but that's total nonsense. I used both and they work just fine. So I chalk that up to a vendetta between the companies. I did notice however that if you format the disk on a computer it will not function properly in the dash cam, but if you format the disk in the dash cam it works just fine. You MUST format the disk or it won't work at all.The dash cam creates 3 separate files for each recorded interval. It records in 2, 3 or 5 minute intervals. So there is a file for each view during the time frame. The audio is primarily from inside of the vehicle but I noticed that it does pic up voices and various outside sounds if they are within 15 to 25 feet of the inside camera even with the windows up. I've read reviews that said the rear camera is designed for cars so it doesn't work well in SUVs. That isn't true at all. All of the cameras, including the rear camera, are adjustable. You just have to play with it until you find the angle that shows what you want to see.Vantrue only dropped the ball by not allowing the camera to sink directly to your cell phone. As it stands with this model all of the videos stay on the disk until you remove the disk and download them to another device. Why does this matter? It might not matter. However, suppose you get pulled over by a police officer and your camera shows evidence of the officers wrong doing towards you. The officer can simply take the memory card and you would have no proof that he did anything. The point of the dash cam is to have your own proof of whatever happens right? Not much use if it can be taken from you.Over all I give this one 4.8 stars. Rounded up to make it 5.

Opened it set it all up in my car, plugged everything in, put the SD card in, turned on my car as the instructions said and nothing.... didnt turn on. Tried the mount it came with thinking it might just be the GPS mount but nope still did not work. Do not recommend as all!!!! ZERO STARS!!

Picture quality is very good and I love the 3 channel design even though I don't rideshare.The only issue I have is that the camera falls from my windshield about once a month. It is easy to reattach, but I would much prefer it to stay where I put it.The ball pivot mechanism is also very poor. In a crash, it would absolutely move with the force of the collision. You will capture the moment of impact, but after that who knows what direction it will be pointing.This would be a 5 star camera with a better fixed mount solution.

I was super excited for this Dash Cam. It was something I needed. However, no matter how I try, it won't actually turn on after I turned it off once. I formatted the SD card (using VanTrue's brand for SD card), set the date and time. Then I followed the quick start guide's instructions to hold the power button for ten seconds.Ever since it never fully turns on. I tried resetting, removing the SD card, resetting it again, nothing. All I get is this blue light in the coroner and the screen won't turned on. Sadly only 24 hours old! Hopefully it's user error :(

Ordered this device for the three chanel cameras and for it's sleekness.Didn't realize it-did NOT have built in WIFi.-did NOT have built in GPS.On top of those issues that I have learned to get by with out. I also had an issue with the device making a high pitch noise. I started a warranty claim. Two weeks later and still no device.DO NOT BUY.

While the item does work the image is rather pixelated. Some people report that it drains their car battery while in park mode. I bought an external 30W battery that does a marvelous job supporting for more than 24 hours.Had an issue with the rear camera. contacted VANTRUE customer support NO RESONSE at all. I had logged on created an account an registered my product only got a you've joined our website email. Then I went to Vantrue who referred me to the Asurion insurance policy, the Vantrue rep was rude about it. Saying I had bought policy so I should use it. Now all I wanted was a working rear camera. ASURION insurance then told me that this was a recent purchase and that Vantrue would cover it. So back to Vantrue. They would only replace the entire system. Go figure.

This is absolutely the worst camera I have ever used and I have had a few. I have had a few at a fraction of this cost with better results.Good luck trying to take it off the window if you have the GPS adapter (and why not have the GPS adapter?),The cameras software is by far "crap", first off you have to change security settings in windows just to download it, once it's up and running you cant import any videos edit any videos or quiet frankly you cant use it at all.What a shame I am out of the period to return this piece of junk.I'm sorry Vantrue am I being to harsh? I spent a lot of money on this camera and it's junk

I just purchased this camera and the reviews that I had read was good, the video quality is real nice, but the audio is not that good,the review videos sound was good, but its a little muffled sounding on my cam. I did upgrade the cam to the latest firmware from the websiteHere is another update on June 19, 2021 the camera has been working well up until about a week ago I noticed it would keep powering off as you were driving down the road the park sensor quit working I updated the firmware still didn’t fix the problem my conclusion at this point is this camera is not Dependable.

These things are very buggy for a camera. Mine wouldn't turn on after a month so I emailed customer support and they emailed back horrible instructions on how to fix it. This thing is too expensive to be this unreliable.

The camera is great, but the fact it doesn’t allow you to connect via WiFi is enough to return it. I love the 3 camera view, but you have to remove the memory card or disconnect the camera if you need to upload videos. I guess keeping a 2nd memory card would be the best option, but it’s super inconvenient.

First off, i noticed the little silver tag on the box was broken. it had a bit of tape over it. thought no big deal i need a dash cam asap and cant wait another day. everything in the box, looked like it had been opened before and placed back before, the rear camera did have the plastic cover over the lens as the front dash and indoor cam did not. after hooking it all up, yup need a sd card. so another day behind. now my camera wont change the indoor camera to color, so i feel like i am in a WW2 movie. this doesn't read licenses plates, night driving is sub par. beware if you put in a micro sd card, the card slot is not lined up and you can end up putting it inside the camera and not the slot itself. so bye bye 40 bucks. never again.

I've had the camera for a few months and it has saved me from several incidents. Also the things I've captured on this is also too funny. I would strongly recommend this camera. It's a little pricey, but some things are worth the cost, for the price of what it's used for.

This is my first dash cam purchase and I really like it. I purchased this from Vantrue and I had Best Buy install it. I'm just not good at wiring or hard wiring so I let someone that knew what they were doing install it. I'm not worried about "WIFI" I just transfer any video I need to my laptop and that works fine. I just let the cam do it's job and I forget about it, If I need video then I'll download it. I would recommend this.

please believe the negative reviews, you're not going to escape the issues pointed out. Not only does the screen shut off when it gets hot, the whole camera shuts off, sitting in a vehicle with tinted windows, in springtime. Unable to leave a review from the business account I purchased this from and my usual personal account, those are blocked - suspicious control of reviews? Guess I'll have to rig up a fan! :(

Why spend over $250 on something that may work only 7 months. I took the picture at night. It used to be a lit up colorful bright digital screen. It just went dead

Apologies, as I could not find a mechanism for posting a Seller Review Vs a Product Review. There is no indication that this product is being sold as other than new, yet as the pic shows, the product arrived shrink-wrapped with the original factory seal broken! Returned!Updated 5/15: Ordered another thinking the previous one with the broken factory seal was a fluke. As the 2nd pic shows, the replacement also arrived with a broken factory seal! I'm not sure what sort of scam they are trying to run, but I would avoid!!

It works perfect. I recommend adding your own SD card for more memory. For those of you with a powered rear window be careful where you put the rear cam. I forgot my rear window on my 4runner moved.

Update as of July 2021:Customer service from VanTrue reached out to me during June 2021, asked a few questions and after I answered, they were able to send me another brand new box with all units and accessories, due to the problems that I was experiencing in my original review, below. I honestly didn’t have any high hopes and thought I’d go through the same thing of receiving a replacement from the manufacturer, then actually installing/connecting it and the issue still keeps happening (of the rear view not appearing on the main front unit’s LCD screen, no matter what I did or however many replacements I ended up receiving).I really thought it’d be a waste of time asking for another replacement and thought it’s best to just give it up and let this whole thing go, but decided to give it one last chance to receive another replacement, if the manufacturer was able to send one (I sent the original main front unit back in May and the 1st replacement back in June - I was provided a pre-paid shipping label).Fortunately, the 3rd time truly was the charm, as everything honestly works fine now. I’ve been able to confirm that the problems were the two main front units, after all, both the original that I’d purchased through Vantrue in February 2021 and the first replacement that I was sent in April 2021. The second replacement so far works without any problems and as such, even though it did take a while for all to work as it’s intended to, I wanted to update my review, to be fair and honest. I will update this, if I encounter any additional issues, but for now, all works well.Original review from May 2021:Really hate to give this 3 channel dash cam just one star after everything I went through with VanTrue customer service in regards to having them send replacement cameras (they were able to send me a brand new front unit & rear camera with all accessories, plus another rear camera with cable), as they did all that they could do to make things right.However, even with me sending them back the original main front unit that I had which was defective (it restarted itself over 30 times in the span of an hour driving on the freeway, exactly a week after it was installed and there was no improvement even after updating firmware), then getting another replacement front camera, the problem still exists that the rear camera WILL NOT show up on the main unit’s LCD screen, and this is honestly the case with all three of the rear cameras and cables that I have. What’s mind-boggling is that when I received the replacement front camera and rear camera, I connected the rear camera with the new cable to the main front camera and it actually worked! Unfortunately, when I went to get the rear camera re-installed professionally today, I was told by the installer that the rear camera is not showing up on the LCD screen, to which I was dumbfounded, since it had worked when I had connected it. The installer said it’s most likely the main front camera that’s the problem and since the 3rd rear camera that I was sent also does not work, that is sadly the case. So now, I’m left with the main dash cam and rear camera professionally installed, which costed a few hundred dollars and the rear not working at all, no matter what attempts were made, so it pretty much just serves as a decoration from my rear windshield.With all this headache from the rear camera not working at all as it’s supposed to, all the time with the emails back and forth with customer service and money wasted with getting this professionally installed, I honestly wish I had gone with a completely different dash cam. I swear that I’ve never owned an electronics item at this price point that malfunctioned and gave me numerous issues like this one, especially for both the original one I had and the second replacement one being completely brand new.Please think twice before getting this particular dash cam. As of May 2021, it does have a 4.5 star rating here, but before you fall for the trap of the high rating like I did, please let the reviews that are highlighting the problems/issues that buyers of this dash cam are reporting to be a warning of things to come or a red flag. You do not want to have a dash cam which doesn’t inspire confidence in it working as it’s intended to and one that’s going to be unreliable, it will truly defeat the whole point of having a dash cam in the first place.

I LOVE this dashcam very high quilty for all 3 lends, it was great. Took some time to set it up in the car because of hiding the cables, but overall worth it, will be buying another good soon for another car I have.

I don’t write many reviews but I am so happy about this vantrue equipment I just had to spread the word! Heck, I got my son to purchase a whole setup after showing him mine one time. He even got a discount on his insurance policy.But the quality, customer service, easy operation and ZERO problems are something to brag about.I purchased the N4 camera, gps attachment, rear camera and as card. Well worth the money and I would not think twice about buying another. Actually, I’m planning on buying one for my daughters truck too! Don’t settle for a cheaper version. Make the right choice and pay the little extra and it will be worth it. Awesome!

I used it for about two hours. When I tried to do a transfer of files to my computer (no wifi), it promptly stopped working. I have been unable to power it up. It wouldn't turn on regardless of what I did. I tried to push the reset button, but nothing would happen. Until then it was working fine. It had good images and functions. But I don't want to deal with it breaking down the first day I got it, so I'm going to return it.

Spent a considerable amount of time wiring front and rear cameras only to find that the unit was DOA. Would not power on. Spent 4 days back and forth with tech support and was finally told to just return it. Do not recommend.

This camera is continually stops recording or freezes the picture. I have reset and tried everything but it stops recording all the time. I hardwired it so it’s hard to return.

Works Great. I needed a dash camera without a battery due to the high temperatures of where I live. This has a capacitor, which is recommended if you live in a high temperature area!

I purchased a n4 dashcam to document any possible auto accidents. Someone rear ended /side swiped me and the video cuts out 2 or 3 seconds before impact because at great impact the car shuts off. The important impact footage was probably lost because there is a buffering of data that is lost when power is lost. The entire premise of recording auto accidents is worthless. When I get a new car, I will not be trusting VanTrue with my safety. Worthless junk.

In all I do like this camera system, easy to install and use which is great. Biggest problem I'm currently experiencing is a constant random power cycle. The unit will turn itself on and off at random, at times it will do it so consistently that I unplug the power. I'll be contacting customer service about this defective unit.

Can't go wrong with the Vantrue N4 3 channel car dash cam....good quality picture, plenty of options, descent build quality and if you get the parking wiring option, your car will be protected 24/7 . If you UBER or Lyft this is a must have for your business coverage....

best 2k dashcam plus 2 1080p cameras. I've been looking around for quite some time on dashcams and vantrue N4 outshines all the other ones in the market. I enjoyed the ease of installation, and hard wiring the unit to my car was a breeze. I always have parking mode on and motion detection on. This hasn't drained the battery for my car and I have it at the highest setting for sensitivity for the g-sensor. Night vision is included for the interior and is functions very well at night both inside the vehicle and outside. I don't really have major cons for this device besides the price since this unit works best if it was hardwired in(it be nice if it came with the kit) offers a GPS add on that should of been included but sold separately. Due to the price of the dash cam($250) but other than that, it doesn't have internal battery, but instead it has a capacitor that can take high temperature due to high temperature days and won't damage it.

I just got the Vantrue N4 3 Channel Dash Cam, but unfortunately the rear camera is not showing on the display (rear camera is not working) from the beginning, and I have contact the manufacture by link given in Vantrue, but no respond from manufacture. I hope they see this review and contact me.Updated Apr 19, 2021Manufacture has contacted me about this issue and they will send me rear cam replacement and I hope we can solve this matter with working rear camera. I will updated again when I received the rear camera replacement.Updated Jun 4, 2021.I finally received the rear cam & cable replacement from mfg, and once I replace both of them, the camera is working good. All that tech but now app support? Unbelievable. You get in an accident your camera can be stolen or damaged. No way to trace the footage.

Camera was delivered quick, was easy to install and easy to get working. Works as it says it should and records in good quality. Quality seems to go in and out though between clear and fuzzy. When in 3 channel it seems to be fine but I put in 1 channel for a driving video and the first 15 min were a pixelated mess at max quality and fps. So I don't know what that about.Also 3-channel puts a wear on your car battery if you have it hardwired. I have a Toyota Tundra, a big truck, and twice the battery was close to dead (could still start but had a weak turnover) this could be due to my battery though, I will have to replace it and leave an updated comment.As for the camera, I think it does the job, quality is good, not great, it's easy to use and install. My only complaint would be an option to detect low battery voltage from the vehicle and shut off to prevent battery drainage, and figuring out the quality issue and why it jumps between clear and pixelated.

I have been having a few issues with this camera. Sometimes when I start my vehicle the camera will say goodbye and it turns off. And I have to hold down the power button and restart it.

Great product! I really like how it has front rear and inside the vehicle cameras! I wish they sold the camera and gps mount as a package rather than buying them individually and having a non gps mount for no reason.
