It utilizes 155° front camera, 165° inside camera and 160° rear camera to record front, inside and road back simultaneously, the inside camera lens is 45 degree vertically rotatable for best viewing angle, and the rear camera lens is 360 degree rotatable.
Speed, Location, Route Tracking
With the external GPS mount, the cam can provide a live view in KM/H or MP/H on the dash cam. It can also record location and route while tracking GPS data on PC with the Vantrue GPS player. Please note: to use this function, you will need to buy GPS module separately.
Time Lapse
With time lapse, the dash cam can sustain longer operational periods while reducing video file size, greatly saving space on the memory card and allowing you to capture a time-lapsed video of a multi-week road trip.
I got this one because of a review about the cadmium battery v Capacitor. Heat here is 100 most the time. I had a small window to use the camera, vs hardwired. USB an we were off and running. Will hard wire soon. Simple set up. Hardwire a little more difficult. But has the rear view camera n cable. I also got the hardwire kit to simplify matters. Spent more but got more. Very pleased, have not driven at night. So don’t know what the night vision camera looks like.
This setup offers triple the coverage of a standard dash cam. Offering high-def on front, rear and interior cameras! Added comfort incase of an accident.
Great product. I had an issue during an upgrade of FW, my mistake. Support was easy to contact, fast response and solved the problem. Product and support are excellent.
This would have been a decent purchase, IF IT COULD ADHERE TO MY WINDSHIELD. I have a new car and have gone as far as cleaning it with windex before trying to stick the dashcam to it, and yet it's fallen down easily more than 100 times. During a fifteen minute drive today it fell down three times. You could have the camera quality of the hubble telescope, but if you can't get the damned thing to stick to your windshield the dashcam is utterly pointless.
I purchase this dash camera and it's was really good for my safety and proves if I have accident ,last time I missed the rear cable camera and I contact the company for it and they send me new one, they are good service and good quality
Product impression: It does not look cheap. It’s well built and the outside feels like rubberized. I left it in a car through very hot summer and still no issue.
Very good resolution: See the photos. Both interior and exterior resolutions are good. Interior of my car is black leather and the person is wearing dark blue jacket but the camera still shows a good image. I redacted the face but details are pretty good. Vehicle license plate numbers can be read on 1080P (outside)/1080P(inside). The menu also offers a higher resolution but then it does not offer dual camera views.
Easy setup: Good suction cup/holder is very steady and not shaky. Well built, plug and play as the factory setting is already good for most users. Menu and buttons are simple and easy to understand. Good user interface.
Excellent/responsive customer: Customer support by email is very responsive and genuinely interested in resolving a customer’s concerns and issues. It generally takes 1 or 2 days to response but they do get back to you. They also don’t hesitate to offer exchange a defective dash cam under warranty after trouble shootings.
Optional GPS: Quick fix GPS antenna and enables speed of a vehicle stamps on video files.
Suggestion: Use good quality micro SD cards made for frequent write/delete like SanDisk High Endurance Video Monitoring. Check once in a while to make sure the files are not corrupted. Reformat every 1 or 2 weeks. Keep one extra SD card as backup. Throw away and get a new one if SD cards keep corrupted or turns on/off the dash cam. Also, always use OEM cable and charger. Connect USB directly to the dash cam rather than through the holder or GPS antenna if you are having any power issue. Update firmware only if necessary so that you know if the dash cam experiences some issues you can spot the issue.
